SCB Platformer Tutorial
A downloadable game
This is a platformer I developed through the "Make a Platform Game!" Course by Benjamin Anderson (https://learn.heartbeast.co/)
The game was developed in GML using GameMaker Studio 2. Right now there are just a handful of levels and a single boss fight, but I've continued to add a few things. I added a health pickup, and expand on levels, enemies, and treasure to be found.
Art and sound assets were created by Benjamin Anderson; and music came from Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com/) are are used under Creative Commons license.
Controls:
Keyboard:
Left, Right arrow keys to move, Up to Jump, Down to drop from a ledge. Escape to quit.
Xbox Controller:
Left joystick to move, A to Jump. Back button to quit.
